Kanye West under probe for ‘punching’ his fan
Kanye West, the US rapper, is being investigated by the Los Angeles police department for alleged battery.
According to Page Six, the singer was named a suspect in a battery case after he was said to have punched a fan.
Kanye West was said to have gotten into an argument that turned physical around 3 am (local time) yesterday.
It was gathered that the fan had asked for his autograph while he was sitting in his SUV outside of the private club Soho Warehouse.
Although details of the case are still sketchy, Kanye West allegedly punched the fan who fell to the ground.
A misdemeanor battery case was put up in his name, an offense that carries a maximum jail sentence of six months.
In footage by TMZ, the rapper could be heard yelling, “Did y’all say that or not? ‘Cause, that’s what happened right now.”
