Media Personality Morayo Afolabi has reacted to the cheating scandal of Nigerian Gospel singer Sammie Okposo.
Morayo Afolabi-Brown and her colleagues on ‘Your View’, a Current Affairs programme on TVC, pointed out that Sammie Okposo has consistently been alleged of committing adultery while analysing the recent cheating scandal.
Tope, one of the Moderators, also recalled how Sammie Okposo was sacked in Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s Church over alleged fornication with Choir members.
According to Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Sammie Okposo isn’t cute and his wife is gorgeous, yet he cheated on her, questioning what men want in a relationship and marriage.
TSB News recalls Sammie Okposo on Tuesday 25th January 2022 tendered an unreserved apology to his wife for cheating on her during a recent trip to the USA.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Sammie Okposo regrets his actions noting that it was inappropriate for a married man and minister of the Gospel.
Sammie Okposo noted that his actions had caused much pain to his wife and family; hence, he would be suspending himself from all ministry work until complete restoration.
According to Sammie Okposo, he broke his wife’s trust and disappointed her but hopes to build back the trust and confidence eventually.
