Uti Nwachukwu raises alarm over ‘chemicals’ in bottled water
Uti Nwachukwu, the media personality, has called out some packaged water companies over the quality of their products.
In a series of tweets today, Nwachukwu, who is a former winner of Big Brother Africa (BBAfrica), recounted his ordeal after ingesting bottles of water.
Although he did not mention names, the reality star accused some companies of adding “chemicals” to their water which he claimed caused him internal discomfort.
I knew there was a problem when I was popping steady and it was smelling of chemical! Like sanitizer! Or Alum or something!
Stopped the first one.
💩 ceased.
Second one no issues.
Bought small bottle and it was worse!

According to Waterlogic, there are no forms of chemicals and preservatives that should be added to bottled water. However, plastic water bottles are made with chemicals such as Bisphenol A (BPA).
