‘I’m sick’ Jaruma cries out to court

Hauwa Muhammad, the controversial sex therapist better known as Jaruma, has opened up on her absence at the upper area court in Zuba, Abuja for her ongoing trial.

The police had earlier charged Jaruma with false news publication, intimidation, and defamation of character after a petition was submitted by Ned Nwoko, the billionaire businessman.

But when she was arraigned in January, the court had granted her bail — after she had spent four days in prison.

However, when the hearing of the case resumed on Wednesday, Jaruma was absent in the court, thereby stalling the trial.

In his ruling, Ismailia Abdullahi, the judge, had ordered the rearrest of the sex therapist.

The judge accused her of shunning the court despite being aware of the date of the hearing.

Reacting in an Instagram post, the brand influencer said she could not show up in the court because she was ill.

Jaruma also disclosed that she would turn herself in on Thursday (today), adding that “I don’t break rules.”

“Jaruma does not break rules & Jaruma never breaks rules..!! When people can’t get you, they come for your loved ones,” she wrote.

“I was not feeling fine today that’s why I did not go but I will give myself in 1st thing tomorrow insha Allah.”
