Friends Demand Justice After Dr. Owen Was Reportedly Stabbed And Gun Down By Man In Military Uniform
Friends of a man who was taken to a hospital after an alleged attack by a man in military uniform are in quest of justice.
The victim, who has only been known as Dr. Owen, was allegedly beaten, stabbed, and shot several times by an unknown man donned in Nigerian Military Camouflage.
The incident occurred on March 19th, Saturday evening. If the victim’s wrongdoing goes unpunished, a friend who posted a photo of Dr Owen in his hospital bed remarked, “it is a reality that Nigeria has completely failed its youth.”
Calling for justice for his friend, Dope_Igbo_boy wrote in a long post;
On the 19th of March 2022, between 7pm and 8pm, my good friend Dr Owen was brutally assaulted (beaten, stabbed and shot multiple times) by a psychopath in Nigerian Military Camouflage.
I am extremely traumatized from witnessing the events of that night and I can only imagine the trauma this experience has caused Dr. Owen.
I want to believe that this monster who callously assaulted Owen is not a genuine representative of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
While I don’t believe that this will be swept under the carpet, If this act goes unpunished then it is a fact that Nigeria has completely failed it’s youth.
We are working tirelessly to get justice for Dr Owen, we want to see that there is hope for Nigeria, that the system isn’t completely broken and it can be challenged to do better, that though there are a few rotten eggs in the system like this individual who is unworthy to be called a member of the Nigerian Armed Forces, such people are in no way a representation of the Nigerian Armed Forces or of who you and I are as Nigerians.
Through all of this I am focusing on the positive which is; the grace of God at work in the life of Dr. Owen.
Fingers crossed, I am hopeful that this whole saga will end in more praise and complete justice will be served.
