Nigerian Footballers Deny Declaring Support For Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition (VIDEO)
Tsbnews reports that Nigerian footballers have denied declaring support for the presidential ambition of APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It had been reported that legendary footballers including JayJay Okocha, Kanu Nwakwo, Taribo West, Victor Ikpeba, several others declared support for the politician yesterday at his house. In a video shared after the meeting, Taribo West was seen praying fervently for the Tinubu to become the next president of Nigeria.
However, in a rebuttal, Kanu Nwakwo noted that the news making rounds is not true as their visit to Tinubu’s house was to plan a novelty match to mark his 70th birthday.
He made it known that Tinubu helped his foundation when he started and he only went to support the novelty match with his colleagues.
