Traci, sister of Toni Braxton, dies of cancer at 50
Traci Braxton, the US singer and actress popular for her stint in ‘Braxton Family Values’, the reality TV show, has passed away at 50.
Kevin Surratt, her husband, told TMZ that she died yesterday morning after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
“We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatment for esophageal cancer our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory,” he said.
In an Instagram post, Kevin Surratt Jr., Traci’s son, also confirmed her death. Kevin said his mother “fought to the end”, and that “she’s at peace and not in pain anymore.”
