Young John rebrands as Chocolate City’s new act with single titled ‘Dada’
Young John, the Nigerian music producer, has now signed to Chocolate City in a surprise move.
The music label announced the producer’s rebrand in a statement to newsmen yesterday.
“We are thrilled to announce Young John as the latest signee to the Chocolate City Music family,” the statement read.
“Young Jonn is re-introducing himself, as not just an important and brilliant record producer in the Afrobeats genre but also as a talented and diverse musical artist who is ready to take over the world.
“He has an outstanding catalogue of many classic hit songs, having worked on songs like ‘Mafo’ by Naira Marley, Story for the Gods’ By Olamide, newly released ‘Don’t Call Me’ by Lil Kesh ft Zinoleesky, and many more.
“However, Young Jonn is now ready to grace the music industry with his vocal talent and establish himself as an excellent artist overall.
“The star is working on his first EP and first major label debut which is set to drop soon! We’re really excited and proud to have him join us on his new journey!”
