APC chairman Alhaji Musa Hussaini Gwabba dies in Bauchi hotel after vomiting, three suspects arrested
TSB News reports that Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Mamman Sanda, has appealed to the general public to be calm as the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Alhaji Musa Hussaini Gwabba, the chairman of All Progressives Congress in Bauchi Local Government Area of the state.
Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a statement on Sunday, said Gwabba was found vomiting in his hotel on Saturday, May 14 and rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead by a doctor.
Wakil said three suspects have been arrested for interrogation while the result of an autopsy is being awaited.
“Report indicates that On 14/05/2022 at about 1130HRS information was received from a good Samaritan that one HUSSEINI MUSA GWABBA, 62yrs old, male, the new chairman of ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS(APC) of Bauchi local government was in distress,” the statement reads.
“DPO C Division visited the scene at KHAIRAN HOTEL located behind Specialist Hospital Bauchi where he met the victim vomiting in his hotel and rushed him to ATBU Teaching Hospital Bauchi for treatment, where he was certified dead by a medical doctor,”
“Preliminary investigation has led to the arrest of three suspects for interrogation. Meanwhile, the result of the autopsy is being awaited. The outcome of the investigation will be made public, please.”
