Suspected armed robbers kill, Michael Omotayo, member of Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Kogi
Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have reportedly killed one Michael Omotayo in Okene, Kogi State.
According to one Saleh Bala, the deceased was part of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 established by President Buhari on March, 2020.
Michael was killed on Wednesday, May 25, by highway robbers around Okene on his way to visit his mother, according to Mr Bala.
“I met Michael Omotayo through the Kasimu Idris family. Michael was with the Presidential Task Force on COVID. He was killed yesterday by highway robbers around Okene on his way to visit his mother. I am numbed,” he wrote.
