LASU opens clearance portal for 2021/2022 admissions
The Lagos State University (LASU) has opened the clearance portal for its 2021/2022 admissions.
It has also commenced clearance for candidates it offered admission in both stream one and stream two.
According to the official varsity’s website, the clearance is from June 20 to July 4, 2022.
Admitted candidates into the state varsity in the 2021/2022 academic session are required to partake in the online admissions clearance exercise through the use of the LASU central admissions clearance app (LACACA).
Successful candidates, at the end of the LACACA operation, are to be allotted matriculation numbers.

Unsuccessful candidates, it is understood, will be considered to have forfeited their offer of provisional admissions.
The newly admitted candidates are required to visit the LASU website, click “Students Services”, hit “UG LACACA Portal”, input their JAMB registration number, enter their surname, and finally click the submit button.
The payment receipt for the consultancy fee already paid into the LASU Consult Ltd account is to be uploaded.
Upon successful upload of the consultancy fee payment receipt, candidates will be re-directed to their dashboards where they are expected to complete the following:
- Validate your bio-data details
- Verify disability status
- Upload O’Level results, birth certificate, UTME results, JAMB admission letter
- Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” text box
“At this stage, the admission clearance will be at 20% while the documents have been submitted for further scrutiny by dedicated University officials,” read a statement from the institutions.
“After submission of the completed form, candidates will receive a success message once your form is duly completed and submitted.
“After this, they should keep checking their email for updates on the progress of their clearance.
“Once their clearance is completed and approved by the university, they will be notified on their dashboard and therefore requested to be checking their dashboard constantly.
“Upon attainment of 100% clearance progress and confirmation of consultancy fee paid into the LASU Consult Ltd. account.
“The successful candidate will be able to print the LASU admission clearance certificate for the 2021/2022 academic session and assigned a matriculation number.”
