Osayomore Joseph, highlife musician, is dead
Osayomore Joseph, the veteran highlife musician, has passed away.
Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo state, confirmed his death in a statement on Saturday.
It is understood that the musician died in the early hours of the day.
In the statement, Obaseki said he is saddened by the singer’s death.
The governor also said the deceased’s contribution to the creative industry in the Edo was “remarkable and transformational.”

He was also popular for using his songs to address issues confronting the society.
