Police sets to interrogate Burna Boy over shooting at Cubana club
TSB NEWS reports that The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) say it will interrogate Burna Boy, the singer, over alleged shooting of two fun seekers by his security team.
Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force spokesman, disclosed this in a Twitter post on Sunday.
His post was in response to a Twitter user who argued that the matter has nothing to do with ‘African Giant’ crooner.
The user, identified as Adeshina, had claimed the police should focus its investigation on its officers involved in the incident.
“This has nothing to do with burna boy. The duty of police guard to Burna Boy is to protect his life. So, sir forget what some Burna (Boy) haters said about him. Please carry out your investigation (with) due diligence sir. God bless Nigeria police force,” the user wrote.
In his response, Adejobi said there is no way the police can conduct a detailed investigation into the matter without interrogating the musician.
“Exactly what we will do. But there is no how d police want to have detailed investigation without interrogating BB (Burna Boy). No way,” he wrote.
