Kiriku was born on 17 December 2014 in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He is a mix of the Orhobo and Bini tribes. He is a Nigerian national and was brought up in a Christian family. 8 years (as of February 2023)

The seven-year-old entertainer gained prominence in 2021 when Tunde Ednut posted one of his skits on his Instagram handle.
In a chat with newsmen, the content creator said his foray into comedy at an early age is not a distraction.
“Education, going to school is important to me. I don’t just want to be popular, I also want to be seen as an educated person. This will make other children like me know that you can be talented and still be educated,” he said.
“Education is important too. When it’s time for my skits, I give it full focus. When it’s time to go to school too, I give it attention too. Thanks to my parents who instilled discipline in me. Skit making is not affecting my education”.
Kiriku said social media has been instrumental to his rise. He also said he is always happy to make people laugh.
“Social media has changed my life. Even people I have never met before wave to me. I am happy to be making people laugh and making them forget their troubles,” he said.
Kiriku, who hails from Benin in Edo state, is popular for his signature phrase ‘Abeg Shift’ in skits.
He has collaborated with top skit makers including Oga Sabinus, Broda Shaggi, Adeyemi Elesho, Sir Balo, and Cute Abiola.
Relishing his experience working with bigwigs in the comic industry, he said: “I thank God for the opportunity. I see them all as my uncles and they encourage me to stay consistent. I am happy to have been able to work with them”.
