Bukola Saraki congratulates Davido at 30
Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated David Adeleke, aka Davido, as he clocks thirty today, November 21.
His congratulatory message was posted on his verified Instagram page on Monday.
It read, “David, Watching how you have carved out your unique niche and inspired a new generation with your work in the entertainment industry has been extremely impressive.
“As you celebrate another year today, I pray that the Almighty God will continue to bless you. #StandStrong #DavidoAt30”.
Davido, born to Chief Adedeji Adeleke and Mrs. Veronica Adeleke, is an award-winning singer with notable accolades and awards to his name. He is the first Nigerian singer to be featured in a FIFA World Cup single; the song “Hayya Hayya(Better Together)”.
Known for his philanthropy, he tasked colleagues to send him a million naira in November 2021. He received N200 million from fans and friends, added N50 million himself, and donated N250 million to orphanages across Nigeria. To disburse the money, he constituted a 5-man committee to take care of the logistics.[7]
However, this year’s birthday celebration is solemn as he recently lost his firstborn son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, 3, to drowning.
