Cute Abiola quits navy, becomes aide to Kwara state governor on creative industries

Cute Abiola, the skit maker, has been appointed senior special assistant (SSA) to AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara governor, on creative industries.

The comedian revealed this via his Instagram page on Saturday, sharing a picture of him with the governor.

“Creative industries” is often used as a blanket term for an economy comprising film, music, and performing arts.

It could also encompass advertising, architecture, art, fashion, publishing, R&D, software, games, TV, and radio.

Abiola said he looks to work with the governor to build on anything entertainment within the state.

“I appreciate the executive governor of my dear state for believing in my leadership skills, by appointing me as the senior special assistant to the governor of Kwara state on creative industries,” he wrote.

“With my new appointment, I promise to put efforts and energy towards realizing your dreams in the area of creativity and entertainment in Kwara state.”
