‘They have nothing… just packaging, living fake life, borrowing cars up and down’ — BBNaija’s Doyin hits Lekki big boys
Doyin David, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven housemate, has taken a swipe at “Lekki big boys” over what she described as their “fake lifestyle.”
“Lekki big boy” is a term used to refer to a man who is — or assumed to be — wealthy and who also resides in the posh neighbourhood in Lagos’ south-eastern region.
In an interview on OAP Nedu’s ‘Honest Bunch’ podcast, the reality TV star gave her opinion on the “fake lifestyle” of men living in Lekki.
Doyin said most men in Lekki have nothing but resort to packaging to survive.
“These days, men package more than women. Many Lekki boys don’t have jacksh*t. The only thing they have is that thing they are wearing and even that thing they are wearing might not even be theirs, they are rotating it,” she said.
The reality star also said a lot of men in Lekki go about looking for women to “deceive.”
“Dem no get but dem dey package because they are looking for their next client. They have cars that three of them are rotating,” she added in pidgin English.
“At the end of the day I don’t blame them, dey no get job dey no make money so they are thinking what is the way forward. The truth is packaging brings you something whether you want to lie or you want to be honest with yourself. Packaging brings you something.”
