Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakre wanted by the Nigerian police for wielding a pump action rifle in public
The police in Lagos state have declared Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakre, pictured above, wanted.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, says the suspect was caught on camera wielding a pump action rifle in public while also threatening public peace.
Hundeyin said following an investigation, the police carried out a sting operation in the suspect’s home located in Surulere and recovered three pump action rifles, one Beretta pistol magazine, one expended and three live cartridges and a picture frame of the suspect.
Hundeyin said Tajudeen escaped during the operation. He asked for the public to offer assistance to the police with information that will lead to the suspect’s arrest.
