I stopped going to church because they kept asking us to pray for a rich member – Zimbabwean writer
A Zimbabwean digital marketing strategist and writer known as Patrick Munemo has revealed why he stopped going to church.
The young man explained that the pastor often asked members of the congregation to pray for a rich man.
Patrick opened up on Facebook while responding to a user who asked; “Church Dropouts, why have you stopped going to church.”
According to him, anytime the rich guy is about to travel, the church asks them to pray for him and even when his wife was pregnant, the same happened.
Patrick wrote; “We were being asked to pray for this other guy in the church whenever he was traveling and when his wife was pregnant even though we all had our problems.”
