Enough with the record-a-thons – Guinness World Records replies Nigerian lady after she announced her intention to fry puff-puff
The Guinness World Records (GWR) has warned people to do away with the “unnecessary” record-a-thons.
The British reference book issued the cautionary post on Threads in response to a user who announced her interest to attempt “Idea-a-thon and puff puff-a-thon”.
In the terse post, GWR wrote: “Please enough with the record-a-thons”.
The post also comes at about the same time when Tembu Daniel, the Cameroonian skit maker, began his quest to break the world record for the longest crying marathon by an individual.
More Nigerians have also been taking a shot at the GWR after Hilda Baci surpassed her predecessor to set a new time for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
