Bauchi Governor orders closure of school after suspected ritualists killed toddler and removed his vital organs
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has ordered the immediate closure of a school where a one and half year-old boy, Mohammed Abideen Musa, was found dead.
Details of the incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was gathered that the toddler was recently found dead in a school at Games village, Bauchi Metropolis with some of his vital organs removed by the suspected ritualists.
He was said to have been missing for eight days before his body was found.
The Governor gave the order on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, when he paid a condolence visit to the immediate family of the slain boy in Gidan Bare-Bari.
The Governor expressed shock over the gruesome murder of the innocent boy, and called on parents to be watchful of the movements of their wards.
He described the murder as barbaric and illegal, saying that security agencies in the state must intensify efforts to hunt down the perpetrators of the lawlessness.
The Governor then consoled the immediate family and prayed that the soul of young Mohammed Abidin Musa would rest in al-Janatul.
