Viral Video of grandma who refused to release grandson after mum who abandoned him for 7 years returns to claim him
A video is presently making the rounds online where a woman (Grandmother) insist on not releasing her grandchild after the mum abandoned him with her seven years ago and has returned to claim him.
In a viral video, the woman said her deceased son and his wife welcomed their baby seven years ago. She claimed that one day, her son’s wife told her she wanted to get something outside and that was the last she saw of her, leaving her 6months old baby behind.
Speaking from Abeokuta. the woman mentioned that after years of singlehandedly taking care of the boy, his mum has just returned and wants to take him away.
She said she has lost her son and also her husband and that the boy is the only family she has and cannot for any reason return him.
She said her grandson’s mum has remarried and is searching for a child and now wants to take her grandson from her.
Reacting, the mother of the child said she was out of the country following the opportunity she had and has been away for over 5years now.
She added that now that she is back and remarried, she wants to take care of her child and ready to pay back the grandmother.
Swiftly, the lady was later seen crying as the woman refused to let her grandson go with her.
