Recently, Mabel Makun, the wife of comedian and entrepreneur AY Makun has expressed her sadness at a missed connection.
In a statement, Mabel expressed her wish that she and Mohbad could have been friends. However, to her surprise, she discovered that her husband had received a (DM) from Mohbad that went unnoticed.
Mabel Makun’s comment did not go without being criticized. Some individuals questioned the relevance of her revelation and its timing in the wake of Mohbad’s tragic passing.
Just a week ago, fast-rising singer Oxlade found himself in a similar situation. Oxlade faced scrutiny after sharing a screenshot of a message he received from Mohbad back in 2018. In the message, Mohbad praised Oxlade’s singing talent, describing his voice as extraordinary and expressing his admiration. Unfortunately, Oxlade did not respond to the message and, to compound matters, had restricted Mohbad’s account.ractions and the expectations that come with their status.
Rema, also faced a similar situation. About a week ago too, he shared a screenshot of a message he received from Mohbad in 2020. In the message, Mohbad expressed his deep admiration for Rema’s song “Peace Of Mind.” Rema admitted that he had not seen the message until after Mohbad’s passing.
