“This is my time” Ilebaye speaks on her victory as she denies ‘pity’ votes

Nigerians have reacted to the trending clip of the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars, Ilebaye Odinaya, denying winning the show through pity votes.

There have been talk since the beginning of the show about any housemate gaining pity votes and Ilebaye is one of the most talked about All Stars gaining the attention of the audience through ‘pity’.

Ilebaye became the first housemate to win the Big Brother Naija Stars reality show, beating strong contenders like Mercy Eke, who was the winner of Big Brother Naija season 4 Pepper Dem, and Ceec, the runner up of Double Wahala season 3.

Many still find it hard to acknowledge the 22 years old reality TV star as the winner despite clinching the grand prize of one hundred and twenty million naira at the just concluded Big Brother Naija All Stars edition.

It was claimed that Ike, Pere and Kiddwaya’s ‘bullying’ led to the victory of Ilebaye in Biggie’s game.

However, the Kogi state star denied the claims of winning the show through pity, stating grace gave her victory. She said it was her time and people’s genuine love for her the money.

Ilebaye’s words got to the heart of many who praised her for being gentle and sweet. Many concur with her that grace led to her victory.
