“Nigerians are not supporting us the way we supported them” Ghanaian lady states following a sing-a-thon competition in Ghana
A Ghanaian personality known as Chocobumbum has voiced her concerns about what she sees as a lack of support from Nigerians for their fellow Africans.
She highlighted the case of Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, who recently set the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time while standing.
Chocobumbum expressed her thoughts on social media, stating, “I stand to be corrected, but I have not seen Nigerians supporting us like the way we did for them. It’s well, keep going.”
The commentary comes in the wake of a singing event where a ghanian girl is attempting g to break the world record for the longest time singing a song. Chocobumbum noted a difference in the support from Nigerians compared to the overwhelming backing that Hilda Baci received from Ghanaians.
However, the comments section of the post showed a different side to things, with many Nigerians defending their country and stating that the lack of support might be due to the event not being widely publicized in Nigeria. Some also argued that only a few people in the country were aware of the record-breaking attempt, and the lack of awareness contributed to the low support.
Notably, Hilda Baci, has been making headlines not just for her achievements but also for her personal life. Recently, Hilda was seen at an event with her boyfriend, Dapper, further confirming speculations about their relationship.
