Dignitaries, guests and thousands of mourners have started arriving the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Lion of Judah Parish in Isiokpi, late Dr. Herbert Wigwe’s burial.
Isiokpo is in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, and the venue of the funeral service for the late billionaire, his wife, Chizoba and son, Chizzy.
Among the early arrivals are Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State, and State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, who is the chief security officer, CSO, of the burial ceremony.
Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, and Dr Godknows Igali, a former Nigerian Ambassador are also some of the politicians who have arrived to pay their last respects to Wigwe.
Also, members of the clergy, traditional rulers from the Omoeke, Wigwe’s hometown and monarchs from Isiokpo in general.
Scores of dignitaries yet to be identified are also at the venue.
Meanwhile, there is heavy security beef-up within Isiokpo and the environs.
