Dunsin Oyekan speaks on some of his colleagues being paid for their ministrations

Dunsin Oyekan, a gospel musician, recently revealed his thoughts on a heated dispute about some of his colleagues charging to ministry like secular performers.

Dunsin Oyekan, famed for his white suit, told video creator Timi Agbaje that, while he does not charge to minister in churches, some of his colleagues do.

According to the artist, his ordination requires that he not charge for ministering at Christian gatherings. He went on to say that even though he does not charge money, God continues to reward him.

“It is a dicey question, it depends on what the Lord has told you, I called it your consecration, my consecration demands that I don’t charge, but God blesses me,” Dunsin said.

Unlike other secular musicians who rely on drink and other narcotics before entering the stage to perform, Dunsin has revealed that he ‘gets high’ before ministering by praying in the Spirit.

“I get high in the holy ghost, by praying in the spirit, I ascend into the realm of spirit,” he said.
