Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has made her first public statement after being fined by the court for defaming Apostle Suleman.
We reported on Monday that a Federal High Court had ordered the actress to pay Apostle Johnson Suleman N10m as damages and had also restrained the movie star from further publishing defamatory statements against him.
The judge noted how Abubakar was allowed to defend herself in the matter but failed to do so. Hence, why she has to retract her statement against the clergyman on her Instagram page.
Making her first post since the news, Halima had via her Instagram page, shared a new photo. Unbothered by the court’s judgment, she stated that she was filled with gratitude and the gift of life.
Noting how God is good, she told her fans to enjoy their holiday.
