Controversial street pop singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has faced backlash from his fans following a recent video he posted.
In the video, Portable claimed there were no protests in Sango, Ogun state, where he resides.
He explained that despite previous demonstrations, the government ignored them, leading the community to focus on their daily hustle instead.
This statement did not sit well with his followers. Within 12 hours of the video being posted, Portable reportedly lost 100,000 Instagram followers.
Fans had previously threatened to unfollow him for downplaying the unrest in Sango, and they followed through on their promise. More fans have also vowed to unfollow the Zeh Nation boss in response to his comments.
