The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, on Thursday, unveiled the nominations for the 97th Oscars, set to honour the finest cinematic achievements of 2024.
After being postponed twice due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, the nominations announcement has reignited excitement for Hollywood’s most prestigious night.
Winners will be revealed during a live, televised ceremony at the iconic Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 2, 2025.
As the Academy continues its legacy of celebrating artistic excellence and storytelling, this year’s awards reflect a renewed commitment to diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion, shaping a more vibrant and inclusive cinematic future, information on the website revealed.
The ceremony will be broadcast live in the United States on ABC and, for the first time in its history, simultaneously live-streamed on Hulu.
