Comedian Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi, popularly known as Dara, has issued a public apology following allegations of infidelity.
Speaking on the Talk to B podcast on Saturday, Dara pleaded for forgiveness from her husband and Nigerians, expressing deep remorse for her actions.
“Ijoba Lande, don’t be upset with me. I’m also begging everyone I have disappointed and Nigerians all over the world. This is not who I am, but I pray never to make such a mistake again. And I will never go close to it again. I beg you in the name of God, I’m so sorry, I’m very sorry.”
Her apology comes after Nollywood actor Baba Tee and Mary Gold appealed to Ijoba Lande to forgive her.
TSB News recalls that Ijoba Lande recently accused Baba Tee and some of his colleagues of having affairs with his wife, Dara. While Baba Tee initially denied the claims, he later admitted to a brief sexual encounter with her and publicly apologized.
Mary Gold, who was both Ijoba Lande’s manager and Dara’s best friend, also confessed to taking Dara to Baba Tee’s house, where the incident took place.
The scandal has sparked mixed reactions online, with many calling for reconciliation while others criticize the betrayal.
