Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Ejezie, a former Quality Assurance Specialist at Access Bank’s contact centre in Oniru, Lagos, has been exposed for secretly recording hundreds of videos of his colleagues — both male and female — while they were naked in the office restrooms.
Ejezie was caught around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday after sneaking into the female restroom. According to insiders, a lady taking a bath spotted a phone hidden inside a toilet cubicle, recording her. She raised an alarm, and after some pressure, Ejezie unlocked the door and was discovered.
Sources told FIJ that after the incident, Access Bank ordered his arrest, and a subsequent raid on his house uncovered over 400 compromising videos on his laptop. Many of these videos allegedly captured unsuspecting colleagues in vulnerable moments while bathing or changing at the office. Shockingly, Ejezie reportedly sold some of the videos on platforms like OnlyFans and Telegram, targeting foreign buyers.
Ejezie had joined Access Bank in February 2023 as a contact centre agent and rose to the position of Quality Assurance Specialist by October the same year. His LinkedIn profile initially still listed him as an active employee on Friday morning, but by midday, it had been updated to show he no longer worked there, suggesting the bank had quietly terminated his employment.
Despite his arrest and the discovery of the videos, Ejezie was released shortly after, leading to growing fears among staff that Access Bank might not pursue legal action — possibly to protect its corporate image. Many of the affected employees, mostly contract staff, now feel abandoned and fear the devastating long-term consequences if the videos leak online.
Staff members said a management meeting was hurriedly convened following the incident, where employees were banned from sleeping over at the office — a common practice due to the shift system. Management also warned that future incidents could lead to jail terms but offered no counseling or support for traumatised employees.
“There’s no support whatsoever. People are depressed and scared that their naked videos could surface someday — maybe even when they’re running for political office. And by then, it would be too late,” a staff member lamented.
The betrayal cuts deep, as many described Ejezie as friendly, professional, and the last person anyone would suspect of such a crime.
Access Bank has yet to officially respond to inquiries regarding the incident.
