Jennifer Lopez is once again in legal hot water — this time for posting pictures of herself on social media.
A photographer has filed a $300,000 copyright infringement lawsuit against the global superstar, claiming she shared two copyrighted images without permission on her Instagram page.
The images in question were part of a series of five stunning red carpet shots from the 2025 Golden Globes, which J.Lo proudly posted to her massive following. However, two of those photos reportedly belong to photographer Blanco, who says the unauthorized use violates copyright laws.

This isn’t the first time the singer and actress has faced such legal challenges. In both 2019 and 2020, Lopez was previously sued for similar copyright issues involving reposted images — despite being the subject of the photos.
The lawsuit once again raises the ongoing debate over celebrities’ rights to repost images of themselves and the ownership rules tied to professional photography.
As the case unfolds, it serves as a reminder to public figures and content creators alike: just because you’re in the photo doesn’t mean you own the rights to it.
