The Nigerian Christian community is in mourning mood over the tragic death of Reverend Ayuba Azzaman, a prominent Kaduna-based clergyman and General Overseer of King Worship Chapel and Ministry.
The Revered Evangelist reportedly died in a ghastly road accident while returning to Kaduna from Makurdi, where he had ministered at a crusade.
His death was confirmed in an official statement released by his church.
Aged 54, Reverend Azzaman was widely known for his fiery evangelism, passionate advocacy against the persecution of Christians, and his vocal stance on insecurity particularly in Northern Nigeria, as well as good governance.
His passing has left a deep void in the religious and social justice circles.
