Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese footballer, is set to tie the knot with Georgina Rodriguez, his longtime partner.
Georgina took to her Instagram page on Monday to share a picture showing her engagement ring as she placed her hand on Ronaldo’s.
Alongside the romantic snapshot, she wrote in Spanish: “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives”.
The oval-shaped diamond ring is reported to be weighing around 35 carat.
In April 2022, the lovers lost one of their newborn twins.
The five-time Ballon D’or winner described the loss “as the greatest pain any parent can feel”.
“It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away,” he wrote on social media.
“It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all the care and support.
“We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
The couple share two daughters — Alana, 7, and Bella, 3.
Georgina also helps raise Ronaldo’s other three children: Cristiano Jr, 15, and twins Mateo and Eva Maria, 8.
