NHL team owner Tom Dundon has reached a tentative agreement worth about $4.25 billion to buy the Portland Trail Blazers, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

Tom Dundon, who lives in Dallas, is the owner of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes. He bought the majority stake in 2018 for $425 million and later acquired all remaining minority shares, becoming the franchise’s sole owner, according to BasketNews.
