President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo met on Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the opening session of the 30th African Union summit.
This is happening a few days after Obasanjo wrote a letter to the president not to run in 2019.
In his letter, Obasanjo accused the president of Nepotism. He berated the APC governors that went to the state house on January 12th to endorse President Buhari to run for a second term. According to Obasanjo, that act which was carried out a day after the 75 victims of the Benue herdsmen clash were given a mass burial, is most unfortunate.
