A mum has had a special boob job to allow her to breastfeed her baby. 24-year-old Alice Coombe says she hated her 32A boobs more than ever after breastfeeding her first son Hector three years ago. She knew she wanted more children, but worried that without getting bigger boobs she wouldn’t have the confidence to breastfeed and bond with them. So, just before having her second child, Elizabeth, Alice decided to get a breast augmentation.
In 2016, she went under the knife to take her boobs from an A-cup to a 34DD. The surgery, which she had done in Spain, cost her £3,800. Alice asked the surgeon to put the implants underneath her milk glands so that it would not affect breastfeeding. The mum-of-two, who is thrilled with her new boobs, has had ‘no complications’ feeding her daughter. And while Alice says her fake boobs have helped boost her confidence, she would never have gone ahead with the surgery had it meant she would be unable to breastfeed.
