Yesterday, a co-founder of Baltimore-based Global Air Media along with his team conducted a drone technology presentation for students and officers of Airforce Girls Comprehensive School (AFGCS) in Abuja. The participating students were able to build, fly, and land five drones during the workshop.
A group –“Girls without Borders”– made a presentation on how to reduce the rape of school girls by using drones with censors, fast rollers, cameras, and emergency buttons to alert the police.
The drone would be operated by a wristwatch that students can wear.
