A Naval officer was knocked down by a speeding vehicle yesterday in Delta state. It was gathered that the officer who was on mufti, doubled as a motorcyclist otherwise known as Okada rider, which he reportedly did to support himself financially.
He was hit and killed by a speeding vehicle around Amukpe axis in Sapele area in the state as the driver fled the scene after the accident.
Residents and passersby who gathered to rescue him, noticed that he died on the spot.
An identity card showing he’s a Naval officer, was found on him.
