Nigerian forward Isaac Success scored his second Carabao Cup goal of the season for Watford in Wednesday’s 4-2 loss on penalties to Tottenham after regulation time had ended 2-2, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigeria international, making his second start in the Carabao Cup, showed great strength to fend off Serge Aurier at arms’ length before firing his shot past Paulo Gazzaniga.
Delli Alli restored parity from the spot nine minutes from time. The England international bagged his brace five minutes later just when the Hornets were down to 10 men after losing Christian Kabasele to a red card.
Etienne Capoue’s goal drew Watford level again with two minutes to the end of the game.
In the penalty shootout, Dele Alli scored the winning spot-kick to send Tottenham through at Watford’s expense after Etienne Capoue and Domingos Quina missed for the Hornets.

At the Emirates Stadium, Alex Iwobi played the entire duration of Arsenal’s 2-1 home win over Brentford.
