A controversial moment was recorded during the Match Day twelve of the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (Bet9jaNNL) between Remo Stars and Nnewi United in Anambra state, some days ago.

Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) came back twice to play out a 2-2 draw in a controversial match at the Rojenny International Stadium.
The controversial moment came when Onyeudo Bishop punched and pushed goalkeeper, James Faith inside the net from a corner kick and the centre referee adjourned it to be the host second goal of the evening.
The referee added ten minutes after lot of deliberations were done as regards that goal, the visitors continued with the game until Abbey Owolabi raised his boot to hit Adebogun Omotayo on his back and the referee spotted and signaled for a free kick.
Both sides refused to settle for a point during the added minutes but a share of spoils at the Rojenny International Stadium was a fair result for the Sky Blue Stars.
