Juventus are currently playing Young Boys in the Champions League Group H tie. Cristiano Ronaldo who is also being investigated as part of a 2009 rape allegation which he denies – is suspended for the match following his red card against Valencia last week.
The Portuguese star was spotted watching the match along with his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez and son, Ronaldo Jr at the Allianz Stadium in Italy.
Juventus were forced to play more than 60 minutes with ten men, but still managed to run out winners thanks to a brace from Miralem Pjanic.
Ronaldo was sent off for the first time in a Champions League game after an off-the-ball clash with Jeison Murillo.
It looked as if he pulled the defender’s hair, but was viewed as a soft dismissal by many – including the man himself, who burst into tears and took several minutes to leave the field.
And on Monday, October 1, the Ballon d’Or winner missed training due to his lack of involvement in the game.
Ronaldo’s omission from the squad therefore has nothing to do with the recent rape allegations which he vehemently denies.
