CSL: Ighalo Scores Goal No. 21 In Changchun Yatai Home Defeat To Chongqing

Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo, scored his 21st goal of the season for Changchun Yatai who fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Chongqing Dangdai Lifan in a Chinese Super League clash at the Changchun’s People Stadium, Changchun, on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Ighalo who missed Changchun Yatai’s last league due to suspension is now the second top scorer in the Chinese top flight behind Shanghai SIPG’s Wu Lei who has banged in 23 goals.
Feng Jin gave Chongqing Dangdai Lifan the lead in the 11th minute, while Alan Kardec doubled the advantage in the 68th minute.
Ighalo was was making his 26th league appearance for Changchun Yatai pulled a goal back for his side two minutes from time.
The in-form striker scored a brace in his last league game for the club, a 3-3 draw against John Mikel Obi’s Tiajin Teda.
On the international scene, Ighalo has scored six goals in his last three appearances for Nigeria.
Changchun Yatai remain in 10th position in the table despite the defeat, while Chongqing Dangdai Lifan moved from 14th to 12th position.
