Chelsea coach Marco Ianni has been fined £6,000 by the Football Association for his celebration after the 96th-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United.
Ianni celebrated in front of the United bench, sparking a reaction from United manager Jose Mourinho.
The Chelsea second assistant, Ianni jubilated wildly which saw him twice run past Jose Mourinho while looking at the Portuguese manager, sparked a touchline melee between players and staff from the two sides.
The FA said Ianni had admitted an “improper conduct charge”.
Mourinho was not punished by the FA for his part in the fracas at Stamford Bridge on 20 October.
“I have made mistakes in football matches and I will make more. After the game, he came to apologise to me and I accept his apology, nothing more to say,” Mourinho stated in his post-match interview.
“Maurizio told me he would take care of it internally and I accept also the apologise. The young fellow come and he apologises. I told him I accept as I did mistakes, especially when I was your age.”
Chelsea will face Derby County next in the Carabao Cup round of 16 before their home clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
