It’s almost December 2018 and if there’s anything we’ve loved about Nigerian celebrity weddings in recent times, it’s the way there have been a lot of excitement in varying forms!
There have been beautiful surprises littered here and there as well as some lovely garden and scenic celebrity weddings we would love to see more of.
In no particular order, here are five of such splendidly cute weddings we will not be forgetting in a hurry!
1. Yomi Casual and Grace Onuoha
The fashionable couple had their super-lit wedding in Lekki and blew the Internet’s mind with their loved up wedding pictures, elegant reception and a party to end all wedding parties – it was actually one of the best weddings of the year in 2017!
Prior to all of that, however, there was a beautiful garden wedding that was as picturesque as something out of a fantasy movie.

2. Lala Akindoju and Chef Fregz
For the #Asewereniseoluwa wedding in September, the actress and the Chef also ditched the customary church celebration and instead took the weddding procession to a garden and it’s one of the best things we have seen in 2018 especially.

3. Linda Ejiofor and Ibrahim Suleiman
This is the most recent, and of course, memories from the sensational wedding are still very strong in our minds. One of the best being this hilarious moment before the couple’s first kiss – which, by the way, is as cute as anything you ever saw.
4. Steph Coker and Olumide Aderinokun
When Stephanie Coker and her boo married in their Greek destination wedding in 2017, they, too, chose a scenic celebration under the blue skies instead of one in a chapel.
It’s been over one year since that wedding but it’s a spectacle that can’t be forgotten in a hurry.

5. Banky W and Adesua Etomi
For all the pomp and glitz their wedding parties gathered last year, it is quite easy to forget that Banky and Adesua ditched Nigerian wedding tradition by staying in a garden when they took their #BAAD2017 wedding to South Africa.
Honourable mention: Toke Makinwa‘s younger sister, Busayo, may not exactly be a Nigerian celebrity but her wedding in the woods with Norwegian boo, Stian Fossengen was such a colourful affair that might provide some inspiration for an unconventional destination wedding.
