According to reports, one Agomuo Jennifer, a final year Computer Science Student of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, has purportedly committed suicide after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.
It was gathered that the shocking incident which happened at Joe Tony Hostel, IMSU backgate reportedly took place on Wednesday evening.
Reports had it that the boyfriend and his girlfriend called it quits on their relationship and the boyfriend finding no reason why the properties/items he bought his girlfriend should remain with her – stormed her lodge to retrieve the objects when he was stabbed to death.
The girlfriend on seeing what had happened reportedly drank poison in a bid to kill herself.
They were both rushed to Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Owerri where the lady was pronounced dead on arrival and the boyfriend placed on oxygen support.
It was also alleged by others that the girlfriend, Agomuo Jennifer – had an heated exchange of words with her boyfriend – a student of Engineering department- which led to physical fight and then use of weapons, wherein they both stabbed each other. And while the boyfriend sustained injuries, the girlfriend gave up the ghost.
