Beyonce and Jay-Z nominated for three Grammy awards after rapper was snubbed at show in 2017

The Carters will have another chance to add to their massive awards collection at the 2019 Grammy Awards after Jay-Z was snubbed last year at the same ceremony.

The rapper, 49, failed to win any of his eight Grammy nominations in 2018, but now Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce are up for three awards as The Carters.

Beyonce, 37, and her husband have been nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Music Video, and Best R&B Performance.

The Carter’s new album, Everything Is Love, will be competing for Best Urban Contemporary Album against The Kids Are Alright by Chloe x Halle, Chris Dave And The Drumhedz by Chris Dave And The Drumhedz, War & Leisure by Miguel, and Ventriloquism by Meshell Ndegeocello.

Their music video for Apes**t will go up against This Is America from Childish Gambino, I’m Not Racist from Joyner Lucas, PYNK from Janelle Monae, and MUMBO JUMBO from Tierra Whack.
