Dedicated to showing women how to pair high-end fashion pieces to create really sophisticated looks, Stella Uzoamaka of J’Adore Fashion is the perfect fashion blogger and style goddess!
Her physique, composure and sense of style is every mother’s dream and inspiration. Her passion for fashion and consistent chic style has us wishing that we are as sartorially inspired as she is.
Since we all know that red is the colour of the holiday season, we have put together some of Stella Uzo’s amazing red outfits to show you how to style red wardrobe staples this Christmas. We hope you love them, because we do.
Ruffle Skirts
Stella keeps it simple in this checkered ruffle skirt. Paired with an inscription tee and a lovely pair of white sneakers, this casual look is great for any daytime holiday party. So if you are thinking of burying that cute skirt at the bottom of your drawer, don’t. Take a cue from J’Adore Fashion and find a perfect tee and sneakers.
Cascading Ruffle Top
This cascading ruffle top is a dream! It can be styled with a pair of ripped jeans for a casual event, pimped up with a pair of work pants or a skirt for a church carol party or even to an office party. For that extra dramatic flair, put on a pair of pumps or open toe sandals, the right amount of makeup and all the confidence in the world.
Sweaters
With the cold harmattan that comes with the holiday season, it is definitely the right time to invest in a couple of sweaters. Sweaters can be paired with any bottom of your choice. Jeans, skirts, leggings, pants etc. When styling your sweater, go with solid coloured bottoms. Since the colours of the season are red, green and white, pick one that best suits you and just go with it.
Straight Skirts
Red skirts are absolutely fierce. Believe it or not, your power strut intensifies when you wear a hot red skirt. Stella kills this in both looks. In the first look, she has on a stylish red skirt with a thigh-high slit that is both flirty and chic. This look is perfect for a date, a cocktail party and even a wedding. Notice how she pairs it with a cute white and black striped tube top?
In the second look, she brings out the class in simplicity by styling her basic red pencil skirt with an inscription tee, a denim jacket and nude Louboutin pumps.
Red From Head To Toe
Wearing an all red ensemble is very tricky. However, if pulled off the right way, it is fire! When you want to style red wardrobe staples, the trick is to stick to the same shade of red. Avoid trying to match two or three different shades. Else, you will end up looking like a descendant of Sango. Also, to style red wardrobe staples, stick to more subtle shades of red. Wearing bright red from head to toe would be just too painful to look at. So like we said, take a cue from our yummy mummy here and tone it down.
Red Dresses
You can never go wrong with a red dress. Spice up any Christmas party by showing up in a spicy, well-tailored red dress. With the right accessories and a matching pair of shoes, you are bound to be the best dressed at any party you walk into.
