Photo of Meghan Markle at British Fashion Awards vanishes

Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards on Monday night, where she presented the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award to Givenchy’s Clare Waight Keller – creator of her stunning wedding gown.

Meghan wore a chic black dress and had her hair scraped into her signature bun as she cradled her blossoming baby bump on stage.

Later that evening, she posed for a photo booth – a standard feature at festive dos and glamorous awards ceremonies – with dress designer Keller and co-presenter Rosamund Pike.

The snap was posted on the British Fashion Awards Instagram page with other pictures of famous celebs, but now, rather mysteriously, it has been deleted. Very puzzling.

In the GIF, Meghan holds her bump at the fancy event as the three of them are illuminated by lights in the background.

Although the cute photo still appears on Yvan Fabing, the photographer’s, Instagram page, it’s possible that could soon vanish too.

So why has it been deleted?

Shortly after the appearance on Monday night, Meghan’s close pal and stylist Jessica Mulroney posted an Instagram story of Meghan onstage at the awards, according to Vanity Fair.

She overlaid the shot with the text: “My angel. Beauty, grace and strength personified.”

The story was apparently nowhere to be seen the following morning – and Instagram stories usually remain for 24 hours.

The Palace is known for its strict guidelines on the public profiles of the royals, and while Meghan was formerly a prolific Instagrammer, her appearing in a Boomerang at a glitzy ceremony is perhaps unchartered territory.
